Name:
Doru Munteanu
Nickname:
Rue
(David is the one and only person allowed to use it.)
Age: 26
Sex: Male
Race: Romanian. (Human/Feline)
Appearance: Doru is a towering 6'3, his body seemingly tall and lanky, is actually sculpted with hard muscles. The ripple of muscles under the tight, creamy white skin is always an unexpected surprise for many. His layered dark brown hair which touches a near black, brushes down to the nape of his neck in alluring, silky strands. His hair is streaked with a lighter brown that touches near to blonde, sweeping down over his left eye in drooping bangs. His left eye is securely placed in an eye patch which remains hidden behind his hair. His other eye, on the other hand, is unhidden. The sharp, blood red eye is brought out more exquisitely by the red-inked tattoo that curls along it, the feline eye only becoming more revealing. Under his right eyebrow is a hoop earring that he had pierced long ago which matches the three hoop earrings in his right cat ear. Yes, cat ears. The large pair of cat ears that perked from the top of his head matches the dark brown of his hair though the left was colored with the blonde/brown that streaked the other side.
(Feel free to request me to send a picture of Doru by PM. I can not/will not post up a large picture in his character profile. That is against the rules. Spammage!)
Personality: Doru keeps to himself most of the times and is very quiet. He doesn't like involving people in his problems and doesn't easily accept help when it comes to his problems creeping up on him. His sea days has made him a bit of a recluse, not initiating conversation with others unless grasping important information from them. He doesn't take well to people trying to seduce him considering he doesn't consider himself attractive but not to say he thinks of himself as ugly. The memories of how people treated him as a freak at times has given him a warp sense of reflection upon himself. Doru is at times cold-blooded but makes sense considering his profession. And deep inside, though he doesn't acknowledge it, he has a soft spot for father-son relationships.
Occupation:
Top-class bodyguard and assassin for David Principato. Though he often goes with the fiasco that he is a mechanic.
History: Born on the coast of Mangalia of Romania, Boru always had a soft spot for the sea. As often as he could as a child, he rode the Black Sea with his father. In his hometown, it was fine to walk around with out a hat or a hood on because they knew well how he already looked. He was even able to shed the sunglasses from his eyes but that didn't mean the scorn from others not in his homely town didn't exist. It was often a double-sided blade when he went out to the sea. He always had to hide his special...attributes from others that mayhap would do harm to him or use him. He had no special abilities, not even intensified hearing or smell. Doru was in all basics, like everyone else. He often considered his ears and eye a curse, often wishing to be like everyone else. His father often taught him self defense, just in case if something would go awry. His father taught him to use a gun fluently and even a sword. When he asked his father where he had learned such things, he would only laugh and say "Some things are best kept secret." During a trip with his father out on the sea, a hard storm hit and sent the ship array. His father and his crew quickly moved into action while he was sent down below. As the storm raged the warning that pirates were coming hit his ears and was soon followed by the sound of gun shots.
Things became fuzzy after that. Most of the crew were dead or prepared to be sold off on the black market. His father, luckily, was still alive. He had gotten the pistol his father had bought him for his eleventh birthday out of his holster but they threatened to forfeit his father's life if he did anything to try to help. Of course the storm had blown his hat away, revealing his ears. Needless to say, that only made it worse. They immedately broke the promise of keeping his father alive, right before his eyes before judging if they should ransom him off. Things got fuzzy here again. But none of them survived the night, he was sure. When he'd woken from his slumber on the blood-crusted deck, his left eye felt like it was on fire. And from the blood on his hands, he was sure he was the cause of his slight blindness. After that, he was found by another pirate ship and taken into their care.
Until he met David....
