Full Name: Skyler Lucian De’Lain
Age: 20
Height: 5’10”
Weight: 160
Race/Species: Welsh, Human
Hair: Black
Eyes: Dark Green
History:
Born to a less than affluent family, Sky’s life had never been an easy one. His mother was a seamstress, his father a fisherman who had worked hard enough to finally say he owned three boats and had nine hired hands, excluding his two older brothers who worked the family business. Heaven knew he had never had any interest in it.
The De’Lain’s lived in a very modest house, possessed very modest things, and did the best they could with what very little they had. Everything went into keeping the boats on the water, which left almost nothing to see to the boys’ future. While the twins were happy and content in their lives, Skyler hated his poor conditions and wanted more. He was introverted, cynical, and even cruel at times. Thinking himself above friends, he made no attempt to make any.
If there was one love in his life, it was music. Though it was a secret part of him he shared with almost no one, Skyler could be said to be a guitar prodigy, and several other instruments besides. He would often slip out of the house unnoticed to head to a deserted and abandoned church to play… not for anyone, but for his own enjoyment. It was during one such foray that he met Donovan Triest, a wealthy investment banker. Triest was so impressed by the skill of the lad, and shocked to learn that he was self taught, that he thought it a shame such talent was wasted on birds and shadows.
He offered to pay for Sky to attend Novena Academy, a well known and elite institution, in return for Sky’s promise that he would not let that beautiful musical talent go to waste. Sky, seeing his ticket out of his hell hole of a poor man’s life, didn’t even think twice. He left two days later without a look back.
It was at Novena that Sky learned who he was, and found his perfect match in Hindly Jacobs. The two, well known as trouble makers, managed to get themselves expelled from school after Skyler put one of his fellow students in th hospital for making a pass at Hindly.
Personal:
Likes: Quiet, music, video games, chicken salad, rainy days, and soccer
Dislikes: Being reminded of being poor, nosey people, know-it-alls, nice guys, pizza, and cold weather.
Fears: Becoming his father, being poor, falling in love or getting close to anyone, and water.
Social Prefs: Likes being alone, people with influence, people into music, boys (refuses to admit it).
